Biography of Irish Musician Rob Smith
Rob Smith is a musician and songwriter from Dublin. To date, he has released two albums under his belt: his 2008 debut “Throwing it All Away” and 2010's “The Juliana Field“. Arriving on the Irish music scene to an unsuspecting audience back in 2004, he has graced various stages in bars, clubs, theatres and arenas in places as far as Belfast, Milan, Liverpool, Barcelona, New York, Madrid and Mullingar as well has his native Dublin. "The music may or may not stand the test of time" Rob says with a grin "But I have a lot of fun making it, recording it and playing it". 
He has shared stages and festivals with some of the world's top acts. Critics, fans, well-wishers and begrugers have favorably compared him to a mix between Paul Weller and Mic Christopher ; two of Rob's biggest influences. "I love Mic and I love Weller. But I've always been influenced by everything about The Beatles. I love the song writing of The La's and The Stone Roses are one of those iconic bads I can't get enough of. They influence me greatly" said Rob.
